MIAMI, FL--(MARKET WIRE)--Apr 29, 2009 -- Nassau Bahamas,  Atlantic Wind & Solar Corp. is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Buckendahl as VP, International Business Development.

To Atlantic Wind and Solar Mr. Buckendahl brings a strong educational background in economics, an in-depth working knowledge of the financial markets, and a broad European perspective.

With 12 years experience in the financial industry he has worked in the Government and Mortgage Backed Securities market, with the French brokerage company Finacor, dealing with institutional clients all over Europe; has worked as a broker and trader for German and European equities with Trigon Bank; and has worked with Credit Suisse in Private Banking, Frankfurt, Germany and Credit Suisse Asset Management in Nassau, Bahamas.

Amongst his past clients were many involved in the renewable energy field in countries where the market is much more mature than in North America and the Caribbean. His knowledge and contacts will be an asset to Atlantic Wind and Solar.
